Terms of Service

Last updated: June 23, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Cue. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cue. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate profile information and to use real photos of yourself.
  • One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.

3. Community rules

Cue is a space for real connection. The following are not allowed:

  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior
  • Nudity, sexually explicit content, or solicitation
  • Impersonation, catfishing, or use of others' photos
  • Spam, scams, or commercial promotion outside our intended use
  • Sharing private information about others without consent
  • Any illegal activity

Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination.

4. Reporting and safety

You can report a user or message from any profile or chat. Reports are reviewed by our safety team. To reach us directly: safety@cuedate.app.

Cue is an online introduction service. We do not perform background checks. Be smart about meetups: pick public places, tell a friend, and trust your instincts.

5. Content you create

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting on Cue you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to standard backup retention.

You are responsible for the content you share and confirm that you have the right to share it.

6. AI features

Cue AI generates suggestions, openers, and reflections to support your conversations and meetups. AI output may be inaccurate or off — use your own judgement. Cue is not liable for decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

If you purchase premium features, billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their terms. Refunds are governed by the platform you purchased through.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or expose Cue to legal risk. Where possible we'll give notice before termination.

9. Disclaimers

Cue is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific match or meetup will occur. Use of the service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cue and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cue is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. We'll post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of Cue after changes means you accept the new Terms.
